 ALL SOLDSunny Beach is the largest and most popular tourist resort on the southern part of the Black Sea coast. It is situated near the town of Bourgas and about 30km from Bourgas airport. It has 8km of some of the finest sandy beaches in Europe, which have been awarded the Blue Flag. The summer climate is similar to Southern Spain and the water temperatures are higher than in the Mediterranean. Sunny Beach has a wide range of superb restaurants, bars, nightclubs and casinos. Prices are very low compared to the U.K. There is an Aqua Park, which offers water attractions for all tastes and ages and three special children's areas. There is also an abundance of water and other sporting and leisure activities. There are numerous excursions available and the beautiful and historic old town, Nessebur, which is a world heritage site is only 10 minutes by car. Sunny Beach has been a holiday destination for over 30 years. However, foreign investment has flooded into the area recently and in the last two years three 5 star hotels have been built. The number of tourists visiting the area is rising rapidly and the last few years has seen a shortage of accommodation. From this year most tour operators are flying there. There is therefore a strong demand for property from the tour operators underpinning rental yields and property values. |
