The St Ivan Rilski Hotel Spa & Apartments complex is located in Bansko, Bulgaria's largest skiing resort. It is situated in an elevated position to the south of the town with stunning views of the mountains and over the town.

Bansko is situated at the foothills of the Pirin Mountains and is 160 km from the capital Sofia and about 50 km from the border with Greece. Bansko offers well maintained and extensive runs for all types of skiers and snowboarders. It has benefited from massive investment in the infrastructure over the past 2 years and further improvements including a second new gondola and other lifts are planned over the next 2 years which should expand the skiing area to 100 km of pistes. The resort is well equipped with snow making machines and flood lights for night skiing.

During the spring and summer Bansko transforms itself into a beautiful and refreshing mountain resort that offers many activities. The town setting is ideal for mountain biking, climbing and walking and offers excellent spa facilities and a quiet and peaceful environment for relaxation and recreation.

An Ian Woosnan designed 18 hole golf course is currently under construction which will boost further the appeal of this all seasons resort.

The Development
The St Ivan Rilski Hotel, Spa & Apartments occupy a total area of about 16,000 sq metres and consists of a 4 star Hotel, Spa Centre and 4 luxury apartment houses. The development is just 5 minutes by car to the closest lift station and a 15 minute walk to Bansko's historic centre. A shuttle will run between the complex and the gondola. Built in the distinctive Alpine architectural style and incorporating traditional regional elements, the development is ideal for those seeking comfort, tranquillity and convenience. The 4 apartment buildings have a total of 162 apartments. Two of the buildings (1A, 2A, 1B, 2B) have 5 floors and the other two, (3A, 3B, 4A and 4B) have 4 floors. Most apartments have terraces that offer breath taking views of the mountains and covered parking is available for all apartments.

All the apartment buildings have their own additional facilities for residents in the basement. There are recreational and entertainment areas and private lockers for ski and other equipment.
